Program Description

The Whistler Nordics is pleased to offer Masters skiers a high-level training and race focused program AND a technique and drill focus program. Most of the sessions will be on skate skis, but there will be two classic sessions. If you are looking for a dynamic coaching team to support improving your technique, fitness or competitive objectives, this is the program for you.

  • The program includes 8 sessions on Wednesdays or 7 sessions on Saturdays.

  • Skiers should be of an intermediate ability upwards – at least 1 full season of skate skiing (20 times skate ski)

  • Beginners should contact Whistler Olympic Park for beginner lessons

Membership fees

  • Adult membership (<18 years old) : $37

  • Whistler Nordics Club membership includes CCBC membership fees $9 & Nordiq Canada membership fees $10. 

  • Our membership covers insurance premiums with Cross Country Canada, help the Whistler Nordics offer children’s ski programs, support program development and delivery, annual races, coaching workshops, wax/ski clinics and officials training, general club activities, administration, communications, and are supplemented by club corporate sponsors, grants and fundraising. Members also receive the annual Ski Cross Country Magazine and regular club newsletters.

    **Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. The Whistler Nordics membership year runs from 1 Sept to 31 Aug. 

When & Where

  • Wednesday night Program meet at 6:30pm (ready to ski), outside the technical building in the Cross Country Stadium at Whistler Olympic Park. 

  • Saturday morning Program meet at 8.45am (ready to ski), outside the technical building in the Cross Country Stadium at Whistler Olympic Park. 

*Please arrive early to purchase your trail pass and pick up rental equipment if needed.

Trail Passes

For the 2023/2024 Season Whistler Nordics will not be offering free passes. Please purchase the desired trail pass at Whistler Olympic Park or Meadow Park Sports Centre and then you will be able to pick it up at Whistler Olympic Park or Meadow Park Sports Centre depending on the area in which you purchased a pass for once you sign the waiver.
