The Whistler Nordics Ski Club is a non-profit cross country ski club formed to help make cross country skiing available to all members of the community.

Our Vision: Nordic skiing is an important part of Whistler’s winter experience, enhancing lifelong well-being for all and becoming an area of community pride/accomplishment.

Our Mission: The Whistler Nordics support the vision by providing fun & inspiring Nordic skiing learning, experiences, and support in the pursuit of athletic accomplishment for all.

We hold events and programs at the Lost Lake Cross Country Trails and at the Whistler Olympic Park. We’ve been hosting events for thirty years now. 

Whistler Nordics have a membership base of approx. 280 cross country skiers of all ages, abilities, and interests. 

Club programs and activities are largely organized and delivered by volunteers and coaches in two locations: 

Whistler Olympic Park and Callaghan Country in the Callaghan Valley and Lost Lake in the heart of Whistler

The Whistler Nordics is one of five organizations in the Sea-to-Sky Corridor that make up Callaghan Valley Cross Country Ski (CVXC). A legacy of the 2010 Winter Olympics, CVXC exists to ensure that the Nordic Venue, Whistler Olympic Park, continues to be used for its original intent – ski competitions. It is an event-hosting club that has members on its board from the following organizations:

CVXC’s purpose is to host high-level events in a world-class venue. With each event, we strive to offer a first-class experience for, not only competitors, but coaches, officials, and others involved.
