Cost: $1000 per athlete – 50% instalment at time of registration, balance Dec 1.

 

Race Support and Trip fees will be subsidized for Whistler Nordic Members. Other clubs it will be a per diem cost.

 

This program is designed for the up and coming committed racer interested in improving their Nordic skills with a view towards participating in a min of 4 BC sanctioned races. This program offers full race, technical and training support. A minimum of 6 athletes are required to offer this program.

 

Dryland:

 

Sept 12 – Until snow

Mon/Wed/Sat

 

Winter Training:

Tues/Wed/Thurs/Sat

 

Nov – March

 

Registration is open to both Spud Valley Nordics and Sea to Sky Nordic members

 

2: Track Attack Community Corridor Introduction to Racing (TAIR) – Min 6 athletes

Cost: $750 per athlete – full payment at time of registration

 

Race Support and Trip fees not included

 

This programs is designed for the athlete that is interested in racing but not fully committed.

Winter Training:

3 x per week.

Tues/Thurs/Sat

 

Drop in is permitted with CCRT depending on skill level.

Please note that payment by credit card is required at time of registration.

 

 

A valid Whistler Nordics club membership is required for participation in club programs and can be purchased at the time of registration.

 

 

Youth Sport Season’s Passes are NOT included with the course fee but can be purchased / collected at WOP or Meadow Park at any time. Trail passes for WOP are $80 + tax and trail passes for Lost Lake are TBC. Dual Youth Passes price TBC.

 

 

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

 

 

Classic skis, poles and boots

 

 

Ski equipment can be rented at Whistler Olympic Park & Cross Country Connection at Lost Lake.

 

 

 

 

For second hand equipment, the club is hosting a Nordic ski swap.

 

 

 

 

Valhalla Pure, Source for Sports and Whistler Olympic Park, Coast Outdoors, Mountain equipment Coop, and Sports Junkies (2nd hand) all sell Nordic ski equipment.

 

 

PARENT / GUARDIAN VOLUNTEERS

 

 

A parent/guardian will be asked to participate in 1 or 2 practices or at a club event throughout the winter.

 

 

We are a community club and the success of our programs and events is built on parent participation. There are many roles available for volunteers, many of which are not a large time commitment. We welcome volunteers in any role, from coaching to helping at an event during the practices or Teck Coast Cup Events.
